The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued some recalls with a Halloween theme.
Crate and Barrel sold 30,000 ghost tealight candleholders through their catalog and retail stores between August and October. A set of three sold for $10. Other retailers sold them for between $3 and $5 each.
The danger here is the holder can catch fire, posing a fire and burn hazard. You should stop using the holders immediately and return them to the store where you purchased them for a full refund.

Consumer Product Safety CommissionCasper the Friendly Ghost Halloween mini-figures are also hazardous. They were sold in gift, specialty, card and drug stores from June 2005 through September for between $1 and $3.
The figurines contain high levels of lead in the paint which is dangerous for children. You should immediately take the figurines away from children and contact the manufacturer for a refund or credit.
