Fires In Leetsdale, North Side Under Investigation

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Investigators are searching for the causes of two separate house fires early this morning.

The first blaze started around 2:30am in Leetsdale. Flames heavily damaged a home along Beaver Street.

About an hour later, another fire started at a home on Pittsburgh's North Side.

Flames broke out around 3:30am at a home on Evergreen Road.

Everyone inside managed to get out safely.

At this point, there's no word on what caused that fire; but officials say it apparently started on the second floor of the home.
