Man Killed In Fayette County Crash

UPPER TYRONE TWP. (KDKA) ― A local man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Fayette County.

It happened on Everson Valley Road in Upper Tyrone Township just before 1 a.m. Sunday.

State Police in Belle Vernon say Joseph Baker Jr., of Scottdale, lost control while negotiating a left curve.

Baker was ejected when his car flipped after hitting an embankment.

An ambulance took Baker to Frick Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say he was driving at a high rate of speed.
