Two Killed In Westmoreland County Crash

FAIRFIELD TWP. (KDKA) ― Two Ligonier area men are dead after a car accident in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County.

State Police say a 2005 Saturn being driven by 18-year-old Brandon Boyd was traveling south along Route 271 around 5:48 a.m. when it crossed the center line, hit the guardrail and became airborne.

Boyd and a passenger, 19-year-old Ross Gibson, were both ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Police say neither victim was wearing a seat belt.
