Neighbors React To Shooting Of FBI Agent

Neighbors who live near a home in Indiana Township where an FBI Agent was shot and killed this morning are in shock.

Special Agent Samuel Hicks, 33, was gunned down at a home on Woods Run Road around 6:45 a.m.

The suspect in Hicks murder is 39 year-old Robert Korbe, who has lived at the home with his wife Christina since at least 2004.

Neighbors say they knew little or nothing about the Korbes.

"I'm very shocked because this is a very quiet neighborhood," said one neighbor, who did not want to be identified. "This was a family farm at one time. This was the Giel Farm. My grandfather owned all the property and only family members lived here. The Korbes are the first non-family members to move on this street. It's sort of sad to see something like this happen."

The Korbes have two young children.

So far, there's no word on their conditions.

"For someone to get shot just because they were serving a warrant I can't believe it," said the neighbor. "It's truly sad."

Korbe attended to Fox Chapel High School.

He grew up near the home on Woods Run.

One man who attended high school with Korbe told KDKA that Korbe appeared to be a normal kid and he cant believe he can be in this much trouble.
