Police: No Officers Fired Shots In Indiana Twp.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Robert Korbe, who was taken into custody after an FBI agent was killed while serving a warrant this morning at his home, was adamant that not only did he not shoot FBI Agent Sam Hicks, but that Hicks was shot by fellow law enforcement.

"They shot their own guy," Korbe told reporters.

Police say not so – that not one law enforcement officer fired a gun and that the shot came from inside the house.

And now they have charged Korbe's wife, Christina, with the shooting.

There are unconfirmed reports that Christina called 911 reporting a home invasion, but police say there could have been no mistake since they clearly identified themselves before entering the house.

Defense attorney Sumner Parker said still could have been confusion.

"At least as it relates to the drug business that seems to be going on in here, in Pittsburgh and around Allegheny County there seems to be an awful lot of competition resulting in gunfire and home break-ins between competing interests," Parker says, "and so I couldn't say that that's an unrealistic evaluation."

Prior to the shooting, the task force was attempting to arrest Korbe for moving more than 5 kilos of cocaine and 50 grams of crack – enough to put him in jail for life.
