Epiphany Fish Fry Volunteer Admits To Burglaries

HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) ― A trail of blood helped police catch a suspected burglar who they say confessed to stealing from the church where he volunteered.

Earl Larue, 39, of the Hill District, has reportedly confessed to five recent burglaries at the Epiphany Church on Centre Avenue.

Police found broken glass on a door leading to the church basement and blood on the floor Tuesday night.

When they searched the area, they found Larue with his hands wrapped in bandages.

They say he later admitted to the burglaries.
