Suspects Sought In Ellwood City Home Invasion

ELLWOOD CITY (KDKA) ― In Lawrence County, police are searching for suspects after a home invasion earlier this week in Ellwood City.

The victim, Lindsay Ostrom, says she was home Wednesday evening on Preshing Street when two men wearing masks and gloves came in uninvited through a back door.

"They were real tall, dressed in all black," said Ostrom. "The first guy that came in, he said, 'Don't move.' And then, he said, 'Give me everything.'"

At the time of the alleged incident, Ostrom said her three small children were not home.

However, she said that two of her friends, her brother and a neighbor's child were visiting her inside the residence.

According to officials, the child tried to run out of the home, but one of the men reportedly pointed a gun at her and forced her back inside.

"He grabbed the little girl, he dragged her back in the living room with a gun to her and he threw her down," said Ostrom.

She reports that the suspects got away with about $60 to $70.

She reports that one of them had on a full face mask, while the other wore a bandana around his face with a do-rag on his head.

Police say they are making progress in the investigation, but no arrests have been made.
