Water Main Break Leaves Streets In Elliot All Wet

ELLIOT (KDKA) ― A water main break turned the streets in Elliott into a bit of a small river today.

The break happened this morning along Crucible Street.

Officials say an eight-inch main broke and spilled water into the street, creating a large crater in the road.

"It just made a boom, and then the water just started coming out," said Elliot resident Sheryl Sesay.

Authorities say about 35 customers were affected by the break.
