Alleged 'East End Rapist' Found Guilty

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A man accused of raping women in Pittsburgh's East End has been convicted.

A jury found 51-year-old Keith Wood guilty in four of five rapes that happened in 2000 and 2001.

Investigators had DNA evidence that linked him to four rapes.

He will be retried on the fifth rape case.

Jurors could not reach a verict in that case because there was no DNA evidence.

Wood took the stand during the trial in his own defense and maintained his innocence.
