PennDOT Crews Reduce E. Carson St. To Single Lane

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Officials with PennDOT say part of East Carson Street has been reduced to a single lane because the recent flooding has caused problems on the road.

According to PennDOT, the single-lane, alternating use restriction runs from Becks Run Road and the Glenwood Bridge.

Officials say repairs will start this evening, but there is no schedule for when the road will fully reopen.

PennDOT says flooding underneath the road has caused the surface to heave.

Crews are posting temporary stop signs for motorists who use the road.
