Duquesne Fire Victim Identified

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The name of a man killed in a fire in Duquesne on Sunday has now been released.

The Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 70 year-old Edgar Miller.

Miller died of extensive thermal injury with carbon monoxide poisoning.

The manner of death is accidental.

The fire happened in a home in the 1000 block of Sherman Avenue.

Neighbors say the fire was so powerful that they heard explosions and the saw the sky light up.

The cause of this fire remains undetermined.
