Photo Of 2nd Suspect Released In Boy's Shooting
Hearing postponed for teen arrested last week in connection with shooting.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
Police have now released the photo of a second suspect they are looking to talk to in connection with the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old boy in Wilkinsburg last month.
Investigators say they are now searching for Romeo Price, 19, in connection with the shooting of Kholen Germany back on April 18.
"He's 19-years-old, 5'4", 185 pounds, known to frequent the Homewood, East Liberty area," said Assistant Supt. James Morton, of the Allegheny County police. "We've been trying to locate him for the last four or five days and have been unable to do so."
Meanwhile, the other teen arrested last week in connection with the shooting appeared in court today for a preliminary hearing. KDKA's Lynne Hayes-Freeland reports that hearing was postponed because a key witness in the case is in the hospital with an unrelated illness.
Wilson is facing charges including aggravated assault, endangering another person and other firearms violations. However, he has not been charged in Germany's death.
Police say the victim in the shooting, Kholen Germany, was not the intended target of the bullet that struck and killed him at the 'From Head To Toe' Shop along Wood Street. He suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and later died in the hospital.
As the search continues for Price, Wilson's hearing has now been set for May 15. He remains in Allegheny County Jail.
Stay with KDKA for the latest details.
