Donald Wilson, 19, is charged with aggravated assault, endangering another person and firearms violations

Investigators say there may have been more than one shooter involved

At this point, it's still not clear who fired the shot that killed Kholen Germany, 12

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A 19-year-old man from Homewood is in police custody accused in a deadly shooting that claimed the life a 12-year-old boy in Wilkinsburg on Friday.

Police arrested Donald Wilson last night in Lincoln-Lemington on charges in connection with the shooting that left Kholen Germany dead.

Wilson is accused of firing a gun toward a group of people on Wood Street on Friday

Germany was standing outside a clothing store when a bullet struck him in the shoulder. Investigators say Germany was an innocent victim – who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He died at the hospital early Saturday morning.

Wilson is now charged with six counts of aggravated assault, six counts of endangering another person as well as firearms violations; but authorities have not filed homicide charge against him.

Police are still investigating the possibility that there may have been more than one shooter.
