Fugitive Files Helps Track Down Robbery Suspect

CLAIRTON (KDKA) ― Officials say Comcast's "Fugitive Files" segment has led to the arrest of another of the Sheriff Department's most wanted.

Police say they arrested 24-year-old Deanna Marple, of Clairton, who was wanted for failing to appear in court last month on robbery charges.

Officials say Marple is accused of attempting to open the cash register at a Subway restaurant in Munhall back in July of 2007.

According to authorities, when an employee left the restaurant to call police, Marple tried to flee though the back door. But the employee was able to hold her to the ground until officials arrived, police say.

She was picked up tonight in Clairton.

Marple is now being held in the Allegheny County Jail without bond.
