Butler Township Police Probe Fatal Accident

BUTLER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― One person was killed and two others were seriously injured when a sanitation truck rolled over in Butler Township.

The truck was on McCalmont Road near railroad tracks shortly after 2 p.m. Friday.

Butler Township Police say the truck was trying to negotiate a curve when the accident happened.

The two people hurt in the crash were flown to local hospitals.

The names of the victims have not been released.
