News Report Stirs Controversy For 'Bodies'

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― There's new controversy surrounding "Bodies ... The Exhibition" at the Carnegie Science Center.

The company that organized the exhibit says the corpses are unclaimed bodies from China. But ABC News reports while the bodies are from China, some are actually those of executed Chinese prisoners.

Critics of the exhibit say they aren't surprised.

"I had a lot of suspicions about where the bodies were from, and being the average person I can't go to China to prove it. I can only base what I thought on articles and different things that I had seen and read," Elaine Catz said.

Officials at the Carnegie Science Center say they will not comment on the ABC report until they see it. The exhibit is scheduled to be on display in Pittsburgh until May 4.
