Shoppers packed Ross Park Mall to scoop up deals on Black Friday.

The day after Thanksgiving traditionally means big crowds for Black Friday shopping and this year was no different.
Lines formed outside many local stores hours before the Thanksgiving holiday was even over and this morning shoppers packed inside to get their hands on all the great deals.
Marlene Waud and her eight girlfriends drove all the way from Canada for an entire weekend of holiday shopping at Ross Park Mall and at the outlets.
They have been taking the trip for the last seven years and say the deals can't be beat.
"It's a lot more expensive in Canada," says Waud, of Toronto. "The prices here, especially on a day like today - where you get additional percentages off, it's fabulous. The prices, you can't beat them."
And this year, Simon Malls have some extra incentives to get shoppers to part with their money including new American Express gift cards with funds that never expire and a "Shop Smarter" section on the Simon Website.
"Our retailers can actually upload offers online, and then consumers can go to the Ross Park Website and download those offers in PDF format and print them out and bring them to the mall and shop with them," says Mike Gianoutsos, of Ross Park Mall.
But not everyone was out to shop.
"My wife and daughter [dragged] me out here," said one shopper. "They're doing most of the shopping; I'm just with 'em, that's all. I'm on the way to the car to do a car stop, and then I gotta meet 'em again."
