Beaver Falls Man Killed In Crash

BIG BEAVER (KDKA) ― An accident Friday night killed a Beaver Falls man.

The accident happened on Route 18 near the Big Beaver Plaza.

The Beaver County Times reports that 39 year-old Thomas Stief III was killed when the vehicle he was operating hit the rear of a tractor trailer that was turning into the plaza around 9:45 p.m.

Stief was flown to via helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian where he later died of blunt force injuries.

The truck driver was not injured.
