Suspect Wanted In Fatal Beltzhoover Shooting

BELTZHOOVER (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh Police have issued an arrest warrant in a shooting last week in Beltzhoover where three people were caught in the crossfire.

Police are looking for 18-year-old Dale Shelton. His last known address was on Natchez Street in Mt. Washington.

Police believe he was one of three men involved in last week's shooting on Curtain Avenue.

Police say two men were firing shots at each other. Sandra Stewart, 56, was shot in the head, her sister was shot in the arm, and another man was hit in the leg. Stewart later died from her injuries.

Police say they matched the bullet that killed her to the gun Shelton used in the shooting. He will face numerous charges, including criminal homicide.

Police believe three people were involved in the shooting. The other two suspects are 27-year-old Kevin Williams, and a juvenile already in custody on unrelated charges.

Police and the D.A. are still deciding whether to charge them in this case. Police did not offer a motive for the shootings.
