Bellevue Fire Victim Identified

BELLEVUE (KDKA) ― The name of the victim of Friday's deadly fire in Bellevue has been released.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office says 22 year-old Mehran Memon, of South Plainfield, N.J., died in the fire.

Memon was a student at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.

The flames sparked around 2:30 a.m. Friday at the four-story Bellevue Mansions on Jefferson Avenue.

As many as 100 residents were evacuated.
 
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
