A married couple was found murdered in their basement and investigators believe it wasn't random.
Beaver Falls Police say a relative discovered Richard and Demetria Harper, both 32, shot execution style in the 800-block of Second Avenue.
Authorities were called to the scene at about 11:30 a.m. So far, police do not have any suspects.
"The descriptions we have are very vague, but at this point were looking for two males that were in masks and gloves," Beaver Falls Police Chief Charles Jones said.
"The rest of the neighborhood does not have to worry. We believe it was an action taken against the family involved. It was not random," Jones said.
Two of the couple's children girls ages 10 and 8 may have been locked in a room upstairs by the killers, sources say.
The girls were interviewed by a counselor and are now with family. Neighbors say the couple's two other children were not home at the time.
In the meantime, people who live around the Harpers are on edge.
"I'm just stumped for words right now because of what happened because I just found out about it," Tony Walker, a friend of the victims, said.
Richard Harper was a coach for a Beaver Falls youth football team and a volunteer who helped the disabled.
"I didn't think, never knew he had any enemies because everybody liked him, you know, got along with everybody," Walker said.
