Debris Covers Aliquippa Day Care Playground

ALIQUIPPA (KDKA) ― A daycare center owner in Aliquippa is upset after demolition crews razed vacant buildings next to her business, burying her playground under debris.

Stacey Henry, whose business is located on Franklin Avenue, says she can't understand how contractors apparently mishandled the job.

The mess is another blow to Henry, who spent thousands of dollars to clean up her business after water flooded downtown Aliquippa last July.

She hopes the playground will be back in shape soon for the benefit of the kids enrolled in her day care program.
