Butler Township Police Seek 'Bandage Bandit'

BUTLER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― Police in Butler Township are searching for an armed man who wrapped his face with Ace bandages and robbed a drug store.

A manager at Rite Aid was letting the last customer out at closing time when the suspect entered, whipped out a gun and forced them back into the store.

The robber then went straight to the pharmacy and demanded narcotics. No one was hurt.

Police hope someone will recognize the suspect from the surveillance video.

The robber is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, wearing a green hoodie, khaki pants and brown loafers.

Anyone with information should call Butler Township Police.
