Ringgold H.S. Student Killed In Accident

MONONGAHELA (KDKA) ― A deadly car accident in Washington County claimed the life of a Ringgold High School student over the weekend. 



Logan Vaughan, 18, of Monongahela, was riding in a car when the driver apparently hit a patch of ice and struck another car along Route 136 shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday. 



Vaughan later died at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital from head injures. 

The teenage driver and another 18-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital; but there is no word on either of their conditions.



While the crash is still under investigation, authorities believe weather played a role.
