Larry On The Job: Nanny For The Perry Sextuplets

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Larry Richert is a father, but he had his work cut out for him when he decided to be nanny for a day for the Perry sextuplets.

The family made headlines when Erin gave birth to Zoe, Olivia, Madison, Joshua, Ian, and Simon, who joined their older brother Parker in 2003.

Larry gave Erin and father Joe a helping hand, as he took the kids out for a bike ride, made them lunch, and got them ready for a trip to the pool.

But, little did Larry know that something as simple as taking the kids for a bike ride would be a bit harder than he planned.

"From the time they were born we always need to challenge the children. Now they're challenging me instead," says Erin, mother of the seven children.

Larry was also challenged when he took the children for a bike ride.

He tells all of the kids to look both ways before crossing the streets.

However, he had to tell Simon twice as he almost crossed while a car was headed down the street and later Josh rides close to the edge of the sidewalk.

Meantime, Madison struggles to keep up with the rest of the group.

Some of the kids were exhausted after riding, so Larry decided there was nothing better to do then take the kids home for lunch.

Zoe wanted ham and cheese, Josh wanted salami, Olivia and Ian wanted leftovers and Simon and Madison wanted peanut butter and jelly.

Larry went right to work making all of the children what they wanted for lunch.

After lunch, it was off to the pool.

And the kids knew exactly where to find their bathing suits.

Larry was definitely exhausted after this day on the job.
