Larry On The Job: Working At the Car Wash

HAMPTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― He's sandblasted the Cathedral of Learning, bagged groceries at Giant Eagle and even groomed PNC Park. Now he's working at the car wash.

Larry joined the crew for a day at Cleantown USA on Route 8 in Hampton Township. He thought it would be a traditional automatic carwash with a little greeting, spraying and button pushing. But he soon found out there was more to it.

Larry had to detail a car inside and out. That involved vacuuming, window washing and plenty of elbow grease. And once the hard work was over, he sprayed the air freshener.

When he was finished, the customer gave him an eight on a scale of one to 10.

"He was going to say six," Larry said. "I'll take it!"
