Larry On The Job: Turkey Wrangler

It's that time of year again when we gather around the table with our family and enjoy a wholesome turkey dinner.

So to get into the holiday spirit, KDKA Radio's Larry Richert went to the farm to spend some time with the gobblers themselves as a turkey wrangler.

Larry did everything from checking feed bins, cleaning water troughs and weighing the birds.

And, in Larry's experience, that feat was much harder than one might think… he says, "I have to weigh the mother of all turkeys."

But in the end, head turkey wrangler, Tim, says Larry might just make it as a turkey wrangler.

"You did very good," said Tim. "I think you're going to make a good turkey wrangler!"

But Larry says he's still skeptical, "I don't know, I still say it's easier to go to Giant Eagle!"
