Officials Aim To Make Pittsburgh Bike-Friendly

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― With gas prices so high, the City of Pittsburgh is trying to peddle a new idea to commuters and they're working on making the city more bike-friendly.

The city has hired a bike and pedestrian coordinator.

One proposal is to give people who pedal or walk to work more than two days a week a city wage tax credit.

Another idea they're considering is letting bicyclists use the busways.
