WPIAL Announces Semifinal Pairings, Sites

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The WPIAL has announced the match-ups and locations of the semifinal round of playoffs for high school football.  All of the games start at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The match-ups are as follows:

Class AAAA:
Penn Hills vs. Gateway at West Mifflin H.S.,
Bethel Park vs. McKeesport at North Allegheny

Class AAA:
Thomas Jefferson vs. New Castle at Chartiers Valley
Highlands vs. Blackhawk at North Hills

Class AA:
Beaver Falls vs. Jeannette at Pine-Richland
Aliquippa vs. Shady Side Academy at Seneca Valley

Class A:
Clairton vs. Rochester at Keystone Oaks
Avonworth vs. Monaca at Moon
