Now, that location is officially closed.
It's new home is a state-of-the-art child-friendly and vibrantly-colored building at the corner of 45th and Penn in Lawrenceville.
The hospital moved after years of research and planning, computer simulations, table top drills and two mock moves with pretend patients.

The new building costs $625 million, has nearly 300 beds and took seven years to complete.
Nearly 300 nurses, doctors, administrators and emergency services personnel will be involved in the transfer of more than 150 patients.
For the move, roads will not be closed but city police may help direct traffic.
