Tour Held Of Green G-20 Host Facilities

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The city of Pittsburgh has gained international recognition for the successful transformation from the smoky city into a renaissance city.

A majority of its environmental legacy has been focused on construction of green buildings.

It's a central reason why Pittsburgh was selected as the host city for the upcoming G-20 Summit.

The Green Building Alliance held a tour of the G-20 host facilities today.

During the event, the city will showcase not only its environmental achievements but its economic achievements too.

The tour included a walk through Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, PNC First-Side Center, Three PNC Plaza and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
