Heinz Red Zone Recipe: Sauced Up Rib Eye Steaks
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
Each week in the Heinz Red Zone on The PNC Hines Ward Show, Rania Harris puts together some great recipes that are sure to make your tailgating party a hit.
This week, she's making Sauced Up Rib Eye Steaks!
Sauced Up Rib Eye Steaks
4 rib-eye steaks, ¾ -inch thick
1 (7-ounce) can chipotle peppers in adobo
2/3 cup Heinz Cocktail Sauce
¼ cup Heinz 57 sauce
Ore-Ida Steak Fries (baked off according to package directions)
Heinz Ketchup
DIRECTIONS:
Pat the steaks dry using a paper towel. Place the remaining ingredients in large zip-top bag. Gently massage bag to combine ingredients; then add steaks. Marinate in refrigerator for 1 to 3 hours.
Preheat grill to a medium high.
Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade.
Place steaks on grill and cook for 6 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer steaks to a platter and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Serve steaks with a green salad and Ore-Ida Steak Fries with Heinz Ketchup.
Yield: 4 servings
