Heinz Red Zone Recipe: Chopped Steak Burgers
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
Each week in the Heinz Red Zone on The PNC Hines Ward Show, Rania Harris puts together some great recipes that are sure to make your tailgating party a hit.
This week, she's making Chopped Steak Burgers!
Chopped Steak Burgers with Pickles and Onions
Burgers:
1½ pounds chopped sirloin
2 tablespoons Heinz Spicy Brown Mustard
¼ cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic salt
6 toasted onion buns
1 small red onion - thinly sliced and marinated in Heinz red wine vinegar
1 jar Heinz Dill Pickle Chips
1 bottle Heinz 57 Sauce
Ore-Ida Zesty Fries with Heinz Ketchup
Preheat your grill to a medium high heat. Combine the chopped sirloin in a bowl with the mustard, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt. Shape mixture into 6 patties.
Grill the patties for about 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until cooked to your preference.
Drain the onions from the vinegar marinade
To serve: Place the burgers on the buns and top with the pickles and marinated red onions. Pour a generous amount of Heinz 57 Sauce on each sandwich.
Serve your burgers with Ore-Ida Zesty Fries and Heinz Ketchup
Yield: 6 servings
