Heinz Red Zone Recipe: The Burg's Grilled Chicken
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
Each week in the Heinz Red Zone on The PNC Hines Ward Show, Rania Harris puts together some great recipes that are sure to make your tailgating party a hit.
This week, she's making The Burg's Grilled Chicken Sandwich!
The Burg's Grilled Chicken Sandwich 4 (6-ounce) boneless breasts of chicken
Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
4 sandwich rolls, split and toasted
¾ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup Heinz Spicy Brown Mustard
1 bag Ore Ida Alphabet Fries
Heinz ketchup
½ red Bermuda onion, very thinly sliced
Romaine lettuce leaves for sandwich building
Purchased Cole Slaw
DIRECTIONS:
Heat grill over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with Cajun Seasoning to taste and coat with about 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil.
Combine mayonnaise with the Heinz Spicy Brown Mustard and set aside.
Grill chicken 4 minutes on each side until cooked through and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
Meanwhile, bake fries according to package directions. Remove fries from oven and season with coarse salt.
Place chicken on rolls with lettuce, red onion and mustard-mayo sauce. Top with Cole Slaw. Serve fries alongside with ketchup.
Yield: 4 servings
