Pittsburgh Celebrates July 4th With A Bang

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―  Although the weather didn't always cooperate, crowds turned out for the Three Rivers Regatta.

And despite the possibility of more rain, people from around the region came to Pittsburgh for the fireworks and laser show.

"I've never seen a laser show so I think it's going to be cool," Ashton Pietroboni, from Ambridge, said.

During the day, the high-speed Formula 1 races were a big attraction.  And some people just enjoyed taking in the sights.

"It's fun, it's a nice day, you know free - everything's good," Kim Causey, from Banksville, said. "We walked along the Clemente Bridge and the kids got all their little free samples - beads - so they're having a good time."
