Soap Secrets From The Set Of Y&R

(KDKA) The Young and the Restless has earned 39 Emmy Awards and thousands of fans in the Pittsburgh area.

So KDKA's Brenda Waters recently made a trip to the set of the soap in Los Angeles.

Now, she's offering fans in the 'Burgh a look at what's going on behind-the-scenes and sharing a few soap secrets right from Genoa City.

First up, Brenda gets the scoop in a one-on-one interview with soap legend Jeanne Cooper. Recently on Y&R, some of your favorite characters made a comeback to attend Katherine Chancellor's funeral, but is the veteran actress who plays Katherine really gone?

It could take months before we know who really died in the car crash, but Cooper offers some insight into the Marge/Katherine storyline.

Next, Brenda catches up with none other than Michael Baldwin. Actor Christian LeBlanc is always good for a laugh and a little inside information. And KDKA interviewed him in his bath robe.

"Keep watching, there is some exciting stuff coming up. You are going to love it. I'm not wearing this robe for nothing my friend," he told Brenda.

A few years ago, one of the most beloved and popular characters on Y&R had a massive stroke and died. But in the world of soap operas, death is not forever. John Abbott often appears as a ghost and only his son, Jack, can see him.

Brenda sat down Jerry Douglas and Peter Bergman to find out some inside scoop.
