Judge Halts Sale Of Anna Nicole Smith Tape

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― A Los Angeles judge has ordered a Texas doctor and his wife not to distribute videotapes of the late Anna Nicole Smith's breast augmentation surgery.

Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff issued a permanent injunction Friday that settles the lawsuit filed by Howard K. Stern, the executor of Smith's estate.

Stern filed the lawsuit last year to stop Dr. Gerald Wayne Johnson and his wife, Alana, from selling or distributing the tapes of the former Playboy Playmate's surgery in 1994.

Stern's attorney, Vivian Thoreen, says all the tapes have been accounted for under the judge's previous orders. She says the other terms of the settlement are confidential.

Smith died of a drug overdose in February 2007 in Florida. She was 39.
