Gander Mountain Recalls Treestands

Hunters beware: before you head into the woods, you'd better make sure your treestand isn't on a recent recall list.
Gander Mountain is recalling some 13,000 of its hang-on fixed position treestands because the clasp can open causing the stand to fall to the ground.
According to the
Consumer Product Safety Commission, the company received two reports of falls one of the people suffered a broken arm and pelvis.
The recall affects the Hang-On Fixed Position Treestands, 2008 models GMT101 and GMT103, which were sold at Gander Mountain stores from July of last year to this past July.

If you have one of these treestands, you should stop using it and return it to the store for a refund or a newer model.
