Auto Cool: Does It Really Do That?
(KDKA)
Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to keep your parked car cool?
The Auto Cool is supposed to keep your parked car cooler.
But does it really do that?
After shipping and handling, Auto Cool sells for $23 as seen on TV.
It is supposed to work this way: the same sun that makes your car unbearably hot will keep it cool and comfortable thanks to a solar powered fan that blows the hot air out of your parked car.
However, In our experiments, we found the temperature inside the car actually climbed.
In our first test the thermometer read 110 degrees. An hour later the temperature had climbed to 118 degrees.
The second car we tested was 80 degrees inside before we installed the Auto Cool. Later, it was 90 degrees after 20 minutes.
Not only does it not do that, this is the worst product we've tested so far.
The verdict: don't waste your money on this one.
