Dan Marino Gives Commencement Speech At Pitt

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― There was plenty of pomp and circumstance today as the University of Pittsburgh held their commencement ceremony in Oakland today.

Native Pittsburgher and football Hall-of-Famer Dan Marino offered the commencement address to the 2008 graduates and their families and friends.

He was also awarded an honorary doctorate in broadcast journalism.

Marino told the graduates that they should develop strong relationships and give back to the community.

He graduated from Pitt in 1983.
