Penn State Loses To Iowa For 2nd Straight Year
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (KDKA/AP) ―
There was another upset loss for Iowa over Penn State this year.
Adrian Clayborn returned a block punt for a touchdown and the Hawkeyes left Happy Valley with a 21-10 win over the Nittany Lions.
After falling behind 10-0 early, Iowa's defense was able to shut down quarterback Daryll Clark and the Penn State offense.
A defensive end, Clayborn rumbled 51 yards after blocking the punt to give Iowa an 11-10 lead with 12:21 left.
Clark was intercepted on the next drive, and Adam Robinson ran 13 yards for a touchdown to make it 18-10 with 8:32 left.
