Regulators Close Dwelling House Savings & Loan

HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) ― Regulators shut down Dwelling House Savings and Loan in the Hill District.

It is the 73rd federally insured bank to fail this year.

PNC Bank has agreed to assume all of Dwelling House's deposits and about $3 million of its assets.

Dwelling House's lone office in Pittsburgh will reopen Monday as a branch of PNC Bank.
