David joined KDKA-TV in November of 2008 as a general assignment reporter for the weekday morning, noon and 4pm newscasts.
He comes to Pittsburgh from Savannah, Georgia where he spent two years in the Coastal Empire reporting on any and everything news worthy.
David's most noteworthy reporting assignments include: the Christopher Barrios case, the South Carolina Blue Angels Jet Crash, the deadly Imperial Sugar Refinery Explosion and the rash of Tornadoes that ripped through parts of Georgia on Mother's Day of 2008.
Before working in the South, David was a producer at ESPN.
David graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in broadcast journalism. While at VCU he interned at various local television stations and was a news reporter for both VCU Insight and a sports reporter for VCU Sports Net.
David enjoys telling compelling stories through the people, for the people, and by the people.
