Derry Elementary School Gets "On The Move"

DERRY TWP. (KDKA) ― Students at Derry Elementary School are getting on the move with America on the Move.

Westmoreland Bureau Chief Trina Orlando visited the school on Monday as part of the "America on the Move" initiative.

The school was presented with a check for $3,000.

It's all an effort to keep the kids healthy and physically active.

The program is sponsored by UPMC, Heinz, Del Monte Foods and KDKA-TV.
