"America On The Move" Marks 2 Years In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Pittsburghers have been "on the move" for two years now and a special event was held Saturday to mark the special milestone.

"America On The Move" hosted a walk on the North Shore this afternoon to celebrate the program's two year anniversary in Pittsburgh.

The walk stretched from Dorsett Drive and General Robinson Street and moved toward Heinz Field and then veered off to Art Rooney Boulevard.

KDKA's Jim Lokay and Stephanie Watson had a chance to participate in the event held before the Pitt game against Rutgers.

KDKA and America on the Move have been working together to help get Pittsburgh moving to a healthier lifestyle by exercising more and eating better.
