Walk To Mark America On The Move Anniversary

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― It's been a year since America On the Move began in Pittsburgh, and today, public officials and walkers are celebrating.

The event kicks off at noon with a rally led by Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato in the courtyard of the county courthouse, which will be followed by a 1.5-mile walk to Market Square.

Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl is also expected to participate.

America On the Move is a national initiative to help individuals across the nation improve their quality of life by making healthy and positive changes.
